Since meeting Deon in April, my wife and I lost 23 kgs each. We are keen lowcarbers for life now.
Deon started a revolution in South Africa and together we will take on any medical expert.
All the best

A little late here but how about the guy who hung up on you earlier this year? :-)
Brian
LOL! Oh, do you mean Pastor Ron Williams who says that Dr. Atkins died from his own diet? Riiiiiiiiiiight. Some kind of "mover and shaker" for low-carb living he is! HA!

I would like to know when Livin La Vida can be translated into Spanish. I have read a lot of Dr Annika Dalqvist and is a great admire of her research. I live in Spain and where people eat so much junk food, from patatas fritas, dulces, pasta, white bread, etc. There is so much rubbish propaganda on the television about loosing weight that you just wanna cry. Let me know when we can read of the HF_LC i Spanish and I shall spread it all over.
Thanks
Ask and you shall receive! Click here for the Spanish translation of my blog, Monica.

THANKS Tony! Yes, I missed Mark...AWESOME proponent of this way of eating. He was in my Top 10 list from 2008.

Have you read Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston Price? He observed exactly that among some of the groups. Just about any macro nutrient combination you can think of was found among the groups he observed except no one appears to have consumed a low saturated fat diet.
A more recent observation of such a diet can be found among the Kitavans and other South Sea Islanders.

isPermaLink="false">http://livinlavidalowcarb.com/blog/?p=6280#comment-20356

While Sally isn’t necessarily a “low-carb” person, she is very much in favor of high-fat intake for health which runs parallel to the overall message of livin’ la vida low-carb. Anybody else, Michael?
–Jimmy
Sally is definitely not low carb. As for the others I think you can easily figure out, if you don't already know, those in the list who are followers of Weston Price, which takes them away from the low carb lifestyle as the approach to health and nutrition.
However if your criteria for mover and shakers in the "low carb" world is a commitment to high fat and not "low carb," then one can be on a high saturated fat diet and be eating pretty "high carb" as has been amply demonstrated by a few folks over the past year. That would open the door to some more "movers and shakers."
But it is not my intent to tell you how to compile your post. I just happened to notice some names of several people who don't fit into what is traditionally thought of as the "low carb" lifestyle and commented about it.
