In Episode 519 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we welcome a personal trainer like you’ve never seen before in Drew Manning. Earlier this year, Drew got the bright idea to get rid of his six-pack abs let himself go by eating all sorts of highly-processed, carbohydrate-laden foods to make himself fat only to turn right around and make himself fit again. He calls this self-experiment “Fit 2 Fat 2 Fit” where he went from ripped in May 2011 to flabby by early November and is now in the midst of getting ripped again by May 2012. Along the way, Drew has learned some valuable lessons that I’m sure will help him relate a little better to his clients and the struggles they face. If he actually pulls this off, then there could be a huge book contract to come out of it! This has already garnered him some extraordinary national publicity on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Dr. Oz Show, and many other places. Do you think he can take off the pounds that he put on this year? Check out what he has to say about this whole crazy idea he’s decided to do.
Listen to Drew Manning discuss purposely going from fit to fat:

Today’s second interview is with a dentist in Hopewell Junction, New York named Dr. John Sorrentino from the “All Things Dental” blog. He has discovered the incredible tooth and gum health benefits that come from eating a healthy low-carb diet and is enthusiastic about sharing that information with his patients. You don’t really think about dental health when it comes to livin’ la vida low-carb, but maybe you should. After you hear Dr. Sorrentino, it’ll give you yet another reason to eat this way!
