First up we have a fascinating 10-minute interview I did last week with Belgian researcher Jeroen Raes from The Flemish Institute for Biotechnology about his April 20, 2011 published gut flora research that revealed we are divided into three types of microbiota. It’s incredible how all this bacteria in our gut plays such a vital role in health and the interest in this subject in the mainstream helped it get picked up by Newsy. This research could have some interesting ramifications regarding nutrition as it is studied further in the coming years. In the main interview, we have the great one himself–Tim Ferriss! If you don’t know who Tim is, then you’ve probably heard of his #1 New York Times bestselling author of The 4-Hour Workweek. He’s now written a new book that has also risen to the #1 spot on the bestseller lists that applies to directly to what I regularly talk about with guests on my podcast. It’s called The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman and is a really thick book that zeros in on fat loss, fitness, sex and more. In my limited conversation with Tim, we zoomed right into the nitty gritty of the most relevant and interesting diet and fitness topics that will relate to my audience.
