We’re continuing “Encore Week” 2011 today with a fabulous brand new interview with the best of the best from 2010 as voted on by YOU the listeners. We’ve already heard from Dr. Robert Lustig, but
in Episode 430 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear again from a rising star in the health blogosphere named Denise Minger from the “Raw Food SOS” blog to get an update on what she’s up to as we begin 2011. Her destruction of T. Colin Campbell’s The China Study in the summer of 2010 made her a web darling amongst those in the pro-meat, healthy living crowd as we found out during my original September 2010 interview with her.

Listen in this brand new interview with Denise as she talks about her latest findings on wheat in The China Study, the results from the “other” China study, her collaboration with Dr. William Davis on his upcoming 2011 Wheat Belly book, her vegan vs. omnivore research that’s coming in 2011, what she thinks about Walter Willett dancing around nutritional truths, who she plans on going after next (think the ADA and the Seventh-Day Adventists!), the new vegan movie that’s coming out in theaters in March 2011, her experience transitioning from a vegetable-based diet to a mixed veggie-meat meal plan, her thoughts on isolated casein, her non-relationship with the Weston A. Price Foundation, why she allegedly deleted a statement from the WAPF, what her career aspirations are and her desire to go to graduate school to get her credentials, what medical or statistical training she’s had, the impact she will potentially have in the decades to come, whether she’s read Lierre Keith’s The Vegetarian Myth and what she thinks about it, how many marriage proposals she’s received over the past year, what her opinion is about what has been proposed for the 2010 Dietary Guidelines, and the people who are heavily influencing her thinking right now. Denise is such an enthusiastic young lady who will certainly be around for many more years to come.

Hi, Jimmy. I’ve not been able to download the last 4 shows on iTunes. The download starts but that’s about all. No data is ever received. I’m not having this problem with other podcasts. I know you changed servers. Could this have anything to do with it? Thanks, Sandy

    • http://www.livinlavidalowcarb.com Jimmy Moore

Yes, it’s the server issue and we’re working hard to get it resolved.

Hi- well your podcasts are working, but they keep starting and stopping, so not sure if it’s my fault or yours :0)

      Working on it.
