New Book: Keto Clarity Set For Release On June 24, 2014

Keto Clarity: Unleash The Health Benefits Of A Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet

Here’s your first sneak peek at my next book project coming in June 2014. It just showed up on Amazon today available for pre-order. I’ll be conducting the expert interviews for the “Moment Of Clarity” quotes that will be used throughout the book. Because my coauthor Dr. Eric Westman and I both have extensive personal and clinical experience with ketogenic diets, we probably won’t use quite as many of these quotes as we did in Cholesterol Clarity.

I’ll have FULL DETAILS on my one-year n=1 experiment of Nutritional Ketosis with the lessons I learned from doing that, the latest scientific support for ketogenic diets for a variety of medical conditions, how to figure out the right mix of carbohydrates, protein and fat to produce adequate blood ketones, how to measure and track blood ketones at home and more–PLUS, all of it will be written in the easy-to-understand layman’s language you’ve come to expect from the “Clarity” series of books. You can PRE-ORDER Keto Clarity now (keep in mind that if the price goes down after you pre-order and before the book releases next year, Amazon will honor the lowest price)!

In case you’re wondering, the Kindle version will be available the release week. And for this next book I’m going to try to do the audio version so it will be available to release simultaneously with the hardback and Kindle versions (the audio version with me doing the speaking role for Cholesterol Clarity will be coming later this year). More to come! Stay tuned.

I’m looking forward to this … I’m curious how you’ll treat the impact of berberine on your data.

The diet was foremost, Glycosolve pushed me lower in blood sugar. I take less and less of it now than I was. Best thing I could have ever done.

One quick question on Glycosolve: I’ve read descriptions how this and similar products (with the same ingredients) work and they mention increased insuline secretion. We don’t want that, right? What we want is increased insulin sensitivity in muscle and organs to speed up glucose absorption. Do you know exactly how Glycosolve actually works? Could you use your contacts to the manufacturer to find it out?

        • LLVLCBlog

Good questions, Martin. I’ll have them respond.

        • Dr. Spencer Nadolsky

          Hi Martin!

Glycosolve (active ingredient berberine) works by increasing insulin sensitivity and not by increasing insulin secretion. No worries 🙂

Always ask your doc before taking any new supplements or medicines though 😉

Great news Jimmy! Even though I now think I know everything about my body & ketosis, I am looking forward to your book and will buy several copies to give to people around me.

The only suggestion I would have: please do not use terms like ‘onomatopoeia’ with relation to the title which is not one 😉

    • LLVLCBlog

      No, it’s alliteration. 😀

I’m so looking forward to your book, Jimmy. Best of luck with the writing process! I’m glad you’re doing audio — I love listening to books.

THANK YOU! My publisher was happy to do the audio version since people are used to hearing my voice on my podcasts. 🙂

  • Holly

Yay! I pre-ordered my copy a few days ago. 🙂

THANK YOU Holly! Can’t wait to get this one done and out there. 😀
