he is huge, is he still this size ?

Ummm, hello? He started out at over 1200 pounds! The man has lost half of his body weight over the past few years. No, his weight isn’t ideal yet, but the man has come a long way. Nothing ticks me off more than for people to judge others without knowing the back story.

I think that Manuel has done very well on the diet. After seeing him on television two years ago, he inspired me to lose all the weight that I have lost. I was taking a look at the three or four exercises that he does. Is that all he can do, or can someone train his to do different exercises? I think he could probably put on some gloves and hit the pads or hang a swivel bag to simulate the exericise he does on the hand bike. He would have to reach up as well as keep his arms moving. Also I think his weight loss might go faster if the weight could be held up off of his legs so he can do more lower body work. I hope he continues his efforts.

I think that’s all he’s capable of doing, but they’ll move him up to ones like the exercises you described. This man’s progress has been spectacular to watch.

My 6-year-old son loves Manuel and we have watched the documentaries together several times. He talks about Manuel a lot and asks lots of questions about him. I’m not sure why he is so interested in him, but he genuinely likes him and wants to meet him. He says that if he could meet him he would give him a big hug. So Hunter and I are pulling for Manuel’s success. He is such a sweet and good man.
