Hey “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” blog readers, just a quick check-in with you from the land down under here in the great country of Australia. We have only been here a few days so far (FINALLY acclimated to the 16-hour time difference!) and are already having such a spectacularly good time with the Low Carb Down Under (LCDU) Tour taking us across the Eastern coast of Oz while meeting so many outstanding people along the way who love low-carb, Paleo and healthy eating. I’ve been super-energized by the enthusiasm the people here show for this way of eating and it encourages me that great things are coming to Aussies, Americans and people around the world in the years to come.
I don’t have a lot of time to post much about what’s happening so far, but check out the official Facebook page for LCDU to see photos and responses from people who attended the events in Melbourne (260 people) and the last-minute addition of Fish Creek (50 people). We’re off to Byron Bay, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane for the rest of the tour that concludes on December 3, 2012 when Christine and I will sadly be coming back home to the United States. In the meantime, we’ve got plenty more travel, lectures, people to meet, and LOTS of fun to soak in. I’ll try to give you a feel for how this is going through the photos we are taking. When I can get a higher speed Internet connection, I’ll upload videos for you to watch as well. I miss my readers, but this trip has been so incredibly AMAZING as a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
