Wuzzup you guys? It’s time yet again for “Low-Carb Conversations with Jimmy Moore & Friends” and we’re so pleased to be creating a fun way to talk about the amazing low-carb lifestyle with this podcast that is set to debut on iTunes at long last coming up this weekend. We’d LOVE to have you check it out, start listening there, and leave us your rating and review of this brand new show to attract the attention of those casual podcast listeners looking for something to download to their iPod. So many of you have long supported my “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show” podcast at iTunes with ratings and reviews and it makes a HUGE difference–I’d be most grateful if you did the same thing for this new podcast that we hope will reach a whole new audience of listeners who prefer a more “laid back”-styled show featuring real low-carb followers living out their healthy lifestyle change through all the ups, downs and in-betweens.

In Episode 4 of “Low-Carb Conversations With Jimmy Moore & Friends,” we welcome to the Virtual Porch two of our friends in the low-carb community doing amazing work promoting healthy low-carb living. Kent Altena from the “Atkins Diet Geek” blog is a 200-pound Atkins weight loss success story who has made quite a name for himself through his amazing YouTube videos as “Bowulf” sharing about what low-carb living looks like in his life. Our other friend for this episode is Vesna Kovach from the “How To Cook With Vesna” blog who is committed to educating people about how to cook deliciously healthy whole foods. These are two of the best of the best low-carb/real food bloggers online today!

Listen in as Kent and Vesna chat it up with us about:

  • BIG NEWS breaking in the low-carb blogosphere
  • Kent’s 200-pound Atkins weight loss story
  • Vesna’s whole foods cooking background
  • The fresh cheeses and sausages she gets in Wisconsin
  • Kent’s Low-Carb Cinnabon Rolls recipe
  • Vesna’s way to cook a perfect steak
  • Why you may not need a Sous Vide machine
  • Whether Kent has found it difficult to keep his weight off
  • Why weight maintenance is like “going to work everyday”

Hi Jimmy. I haven’t listened yet but I shall. I know I’ll learn something. I always do.
I’m sure you use a spell checker because everything is usually so perfect. I love the little words that get away like for example in the second sentence for this interview:
” It’s time yet against for “Low-Carb Conversations with Jimmy Moore & Friends”……”

      • http://www.livinlavidalowcarb.com Jimmy Moore

Thanks Mary-Clare! I’ll fix it now.

    • Dan (aka Renegadediabetic)

Your interview with Dr. Barnard got me thinking and I’ve decided that his vegan diet is the best for diabetics…..Oh Dang, I missed April Fool’s day, but I can still have a little fun. :)

Still Livin’ La Vida Low Carb!

        Hee hee! Absolutely!
