NOTICE OF DISCLOSURE: http://cmp.ly/3

In Episode 21 of “Low-Carb Conversations With Jimmy Moore & Friends,” we are back after taking a one-month hiatus from the show during the month of August for some much-needed rest and relaxation. But my co-host Mindy Noxon Iannotti and I are all rested up now and ready to start the conversation going again about the healthy low-carb lifestyle. Today we have two truly amazing “friends” joining us on the show. First we have Lisa Geiger from the “No Pain No Grain” blog who I met in person at a low-carb meet-up at Dana Carpender‘s house in Indiana last month. We also have a long-time reader and fan of my work named Sandy Personette from the “SandyLP” blog here to discuss some headlines about low-carb diets and acne as well as sharing some great low-carb cooking and recipe tips! It’s good to be back!

Listen to Lisa Geiger And Sandy Personette discuss low-carb living:

  • Jimmy traveling around in August in South Carolina, LA and Indiana
  • Mindy’s “staycation” that helped her get some stuff done
  • Lisa’s Atkins low-carb 60-pound weight loss journey
  • Sandy’s shocking doctor’s note that her knee pain was from “obesity”
  • How reading Jimmy’s and Dr. Atkins’ books inspired her to go low-carb
  • Her ultimate 78-pound weight loss that happened because of low-carb
  • The results of Mindy’s Summer Weight Loss Challenge
  • How Nora Gedgaudas inspired Mindy to try The Skogg System
  • How Mindy’s husband was skeptical using kettlebells…now loves it
  • The quantifiable results Mindy has seen since starting Skogg System
  • The 60-Day Challenge Mindy will be engaged in with the Skogg System
  • Lisa being able to relate to being a slave to the scale
  • Sandy’s experience of losing inches despite not losing weight
  • The WebMD column “Low-Carb Diets May Improve Acne”
  • Lisa’s experience with her children eating low-carb having clear skin
  • Sandy’s belief that low-carb seems to cure so many health issues
  • Mindy’s Celiac daughter who eats “quasi-low-carb” has no blemishes
  • How Robb Wolf promotes cutting out dairy to control outbreaks
  • How your skin isn’t as dry when you eat healthy fats in your diet
  • Lisa’s Low Carb Enchilada Bake recipe
  • Sandy’s favorite Salad In A Jar recipe
