I have spent the last six years looking for a doctor who would give me good advice about my diabetes. I still have not found one even though I have been to many so called specialist. I had to take control myself through diet and exercise. None of the many doctors that I visited ever said to me lose weight! I have good control now by living La Vida LowCArb. I voted for Dr. Vernon.

Her comment is right on: "Physicians do need to be trained in this method -- it works so well that most physicians aren’t aware of how to manage patient’s medications when using carb control." I know a lady who said she couldn't do low carb because her doctor wouldn't let her - because he couldn't control her blood sugar! That was probably 5 years ago, and she's now in a wheel chair because of her weight and all the other health problems she has. How sad! I voted for her.
