Thanks for the heads-up on this award. I am glad to add my vote for the good Doctor, and might one day even be able to see her, as she is in this area!

Jimmy-
Sounds good. I have an employee that's diabetic as well as my wife's father. I'll let them know about this and vote.
-James
<i>THANKS buddy! This is a huge opportunity to give low-carb a push for diabetics.

Done Jimmy. As a diabetic who had the blessing to have a Dr. who, when learning I was diabetic to advise me to try Atkins, I will help in any way I can to spread the word. I will mention again that I was on insulin treatment and a low calorie semi-starvation diet that the Dr. I had when I was going to Regent University put me on. I was so irritable and hungry all the time that my wife was fed up. I gave up the diet in disgust when upon returning to Calif. my Dr. suggested I, "Just read the book." After 17 days I was off of insulin and now my average fasting glucose level is 107. Lost 50lbs w/ 115 to go and loving the food. (I love to cook). Thanks to you and your lovely wife for all your info and encouragement. John
<i>THANKS John! What a small world--I went to Regent University from 1993-96 and got my Master of Arts in Public Policy in 2002. COOL! :) THANK YOU for voting!
