What a week this is going to be! After a few more days of banging out some fantastic interviews for my cholesterol book, including with Chris Masterjohn, Dr. John Briffa and Gary Taubes with Dr. Robert Lustig, Robb Wolf and Chris Kresser coming up soon, I’ll be hopping on a plane bright and early headed out west to Spokane, Washington on Thursday for the “Become Superhuman” LIVE event hosted by my low-carb health and fitness podcasting friend Ben Greenfield on March 8-9, 2013.
If you live in or around that area of Washington state, then I’d love to meet you in person and have you attend this great conference. But I realize that most of you who would like to participate in this can’t get out to Spokane over the weekend. No problem! Ben has set up a special Spreecast LIVE-streaming of the entire “Become Superhuman” event so you can enjoy it from the comfort and convenience of your home computer or device. Check out the star-studded speaker line-up along with the topics they will be discussing (times listed are in PST):

I’m so excited about giving a lecture on my 300-day update of my n=1 experiment of nutritional ketosis with all the weight loss and health updates that I will literally have compiled up until Saturday since that is exactly Day 300 of this experience. Fun stuff! I’ll be sharing my next 30-day blog post update with my latest numbers and progress when I return home next week. But the opportunities to share more about this NK journey won’t stop in Spokane.
I’m scheduled to be on a panel at the upcoming PaleoFX conference in Austin, TX on March 28-30, 2013 discussing the merits of being on a ketogenic diet for health and weight loss with my bud Sean Croxton from “Underground Wellness” moderating. Then in May on The 6th Annual Low-Carb Cruise I’ll be giving a lecture on my one-year progress of doing NK which should be exciting since Dr. Atkins’ widow Veronica will be in attendance and it was after the 2012 event that I was motivated to start doing this. Then in August, I have been given the opportunity to present a poster about my NK testing and results at the 2013 Ancestral Health Symposium (#AHS13) in Atlanta, Georgia. I’ll be looking for a graphic designer to help me assimilate all of this great information to put it in poster form. And when my cholesterol book is finished, my publisher is already wanting me to work on writing a book about this nutritional ketosis topic. WHEW! I’ve got one busy 2013 shaping up!

He may be on to something even bigger than a simple diet change for the purposes of losing weight or even improving various parts of your health.
