Interesting clips. Believe it or not, I’m going to use a tidbit from Dr. Eades March 10th blog post to comment on Carlin. Dr. Eades told of Sir Karl Popper’s example of a bad hypothesis — all swans are white. Finding more white swans doesn’t prove the hypothesis, but finding a black swan disproves it. So Carlin’s hypothesis is that big business “owns” the country, politicians, courts, etc., and by extension all of us. Huge recalls of autos, dangerous products, contaminated food, etc., along with lots of other anti-business policies too numerous to mention would seem to argue otherwise. There are kernels of truth of course, but his passion seems to have gotten the best of him in that diatribe.

The T.J. Thyne video reminded me of some exceptionally positive people I’m fortunate to have in my life, and that I need to reciprocate even more. That means you, too, you Big-Time Validator!
