Wow – I’ve been away on vacation and not keeping up to date with my blog RSS feeds – so I was so surprised to find an autographed copy of the “Atkins Diabetes Revolution” in my mail when I got home. I had no idea where it came from!

But now I see I won it in the contest. How very cool. I’ve been enjoying it. I never even thought to check here as I’m the sort who never wins anything (I mean my typical pattern is like the event I went to a few years ago that had 14 participants and 12 door prizes to give out, and I was one of the two who got nothing).

But now I’ve won something, and something very useful to me as well. Thanks for the fun contest.

My Grace Cheese Crisps arrived today. I am so happy to have won something! Sadly I believe I have developed a dairy allergy. I am looking forward to my next family gathering (of LC healthy people and morbidly obese Weight Watchers) where I will have a dairy challenge and can share! Thank you for all you do!

Whoohooo! I won the Joy of Diabetes t-shirt and book! I’m not diabetic, but I can wear the t-shirt when I just don’t want to explain for the 20th time that week why I don’t want a bun with my hamburger.

Do you know which shirt it is? “Death by Chocolate–No, Really” is very witty. They’re all nice.

Or I could give it to my brother, who IS diabetic.
