Christine and I are leaving Spartanburg, South Carolina for our annual trip to see her side of the family in Indiana beginning this Thursday and we’ll be staying there for a week before heading down to Nashville, Tennessee to see our friends Tom (of FAT HEAD fame) and Chareva Naughton and their two gorgeous little girls Sarah and Alana (if you haven’t seen them yet, just watch their new Fat Head Kids’ Club videos) for a week of disc golf mania. After spending most of 2013 banging away writing the manuscript for Cholesterol Clarity: What The HDL Is Wrong With My Numbers? (which I’m in the final stages of editing one last time RIGHT NOW before it heads off to print and finally releases to the world on August 27, 2013!), it’s time for a bit of a break away from my regular schedule to rest up before the hysteria hits once my book releases next month.
Although this time away will mostly be personal time, I have arranged for two talks about my one-year nutritional ketosis n=1 experiment in the Indianapolis, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee areas on the next two Sundays. If you live in either one of these areas, I’d love to meet you and have you attend. Here are the details for each:
SUNDAY, JULY 21, 2013 – 1:00-3:00PM
Outside the Box
3940 E. 56th Street
Indianapolis, IN 46220
Shelby from the Paleo/low-carb friendly Caveman Truck (listen to him in Episode 583 of The LLVLC Show podcast) will be there in the parking lot serving some amazing grub for lunch from 1:00-2:00PM and then we’ll move inside where I will share my NK lecture with everyone who attends. There is no cost to attend, but you don’t want to miss supporting this fabulous Paleo food truck.
SUNDAY, JULY 28, 2013 – 4:00-6:00PM
7087 Bakers Bridge Ave.
Franklin, TN 37067
Christine and I will be joined by our bud Tom Naughton in this special early dinner meet-and-greet where I’ll once again give my talk on nutritional ketosis. Feel free to ask questions, say hey, get my 21 Life Lessons book or Tom’s new Director’s Cut version of the FAT HEAD DVD and have a great time with your fellow Paleo/low-carb peeps. Again, there is no cost to attend, but the Logan’s staff will be on hand to serve food to you if you want to order something.
If you plan on attending either the Indianapolis or the Nashville events, then please RSVP via e-mail with the city of the event you are attending in the subject line to email@example.com no later than Saturday, July 20, 2013 so we can have an accurate count of who all is coming. I can’t wait to meet you in person and look forward to coming to Indiana and Tennessee over the next couple of weeks.
