My boyfriend makes these AMAZING low-carb pancakes, buckwheat flour with whey protein powder, that we eat every Sunday for our fancy Sunday breakfast. And we use the great Atkins syrup! Luckily, he bought a case of the stuff and it lasts forever, so we have a supply in the basement! <br/><br/>Thanks for visiting my site, btw! It's sad that that much of this hardship was due to a couple of bad business decisions on their part, and even more sad that the media and "experts" had a field day as a result, but the facts remain the facts and Dr. Atkins great legacy lives on and shall live on. <br/><br/>As is proven almost daily, lies die very hard... but I am personally convinced that the truth in the end will prevail. No matter how hard the critics and the media and the "experts" will try, real and solid science remains the corner stone of this diet, and the countless millions upon millions that followed his diet with great success is not something they can "polish away" easily - no matter how hard they try. The truth remains the truth.<br/><br/>Remember the words of Mahatma Gandhi, when faced with critics, ridicule, and hate: <br/><br/>"First they laugh at you. Then they critisize you.
