Fourteen years ago today I vowed to stay with Christine forever
Today is August 5, 2009 and this is the day I’m celebrating one of the best decisions I ever made in my entire life–marrying that wonderful woman named Christine. It’s safe to say I had no idea how much my life would change when I said “I do” to her back in 1995, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Christine is the love of my life, my soulmate, and the only woman I will cherish for the rest of my life. When you say something as profound as “’til death do us part,” then you had better mean it! I did, I do, and I always will.
HAPPY 14th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TODAY CHRISTINE! You are everything I could ever want, hope for, and be with for as long as God allows. Thanks for putting up with…er, I mean, loving me for all these years. Now let’s go party today! See ya tomorrow “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” readers!

Jimmy, you don’t look that heavy in your wedding pictures. I don’t mean to get too personal but this is a weight loss blog, how much did you weigh then?
I was 23 years old at the time and weighed about 350 pounds. Trust me, I was a big fella. Look at the photos BELOW the wedding pictures to see just how big my belly was. I’m much better off now than I was then.
