And if you’re new to the “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” blog, then I’m excited to share with you an annual tradition I started here several years back where I hold a big contest full of some truly amazing prizes that YOU can win. The actual anniversary of my blog is coming up on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 and I am so grateful for all the support for the work I am doing by my faithful readers. You guys make what I do each and everyday such a joy and I am in awe by the impact a blog like mine has had on the lives of real people from around the world who struggle with weight loss and health concerns. The amazing thing is that thousands upon thousands of people are being exposed to the TRUTH about healthy low-carb living each and every day here and we are making a dent in the obesity and diabetes epidemics that have hit not just the United States but the entire world. THANK YOU for being a part of the revolution that’s well underway and will continue for many years to come.

Today I am introducing the 4th Annual Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Blogiversary Giveaway Contest and you can start entering RIGHT AWAY. I’ve searched long and hard to find some unique and valuable prizes for you and I don’t think you’re gonna be disappointed. Because there are so many prizes, I can’t really fit them all in this one post conveniently. So over the next few days or so, I’ll be writing a series of blogiversary prize posts so you can catch a glimpse of exactly what you can win. Like I said, these ain’t no chintzy prizes either! You WILL love ‘em!

Over the past couple of years, I’ve done a scavenger hunt style of contest entry that has gone over very well. And I’m even benevolent if you miss a question or two by giving you a second chance to get it right. But if you are a regular reader of my blog or know how to search for the answers I’m looking for, then this should be pretty easy. Here are the easy instructions about how to enter this drawing (only one entry per household please):

1. Your full name/full mailing address (NO P.O. Boxes please!).
2. Which low-carb plan are you on and how long have you been on it?
3. Are you diabetic? If so, then is it Type 1 or Type 2?
4. What is your favorite part of the “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” blog?
5. The 4th blogiversary scavenger hunt (answers easily found on my blog!):
a. What low-carb doctor theorized that long-term low-carb could lead to reactive hypoglycemia?

If you’ve been paying attention even a little bit at my blog over the past year, then the answers to these questions will be pretty simple. Please label your e-mail “BLOGIVERSARY CONTEST” so I can easily recognize it when it hits my inbox (I already get hundreds of e-mails daily, so I must be a glutton for punishment asking for MORE!).

NOTE: I MUST RECEIVE YOUR ENTRY NO LATER THAN 11:59PM EST ON APRIL 25, 2009 for you to be eligible to win a prize! This gives you a little over two weeks to enter to win and there are so many prizes that you have a VERY HIGH probability of winning SOMETHING. I assure you this is well worth the effort and it’s my way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support of the work I am doing.

By the way, for those of you who may be concerned about sharing your name and contact information with me, I promise I will NEVER mention your full name, address or e-mail address to anyone at my blog. It will only be used to mail your prize to you in the event you are chosen as a winner. Remember, please limit your entry to one person per household to give everyone a fair chance to win a prize and, like I said, there will be plenty of prizes for everyone to have an EXCELLENT chance to win.
