46 New Paleo, Low-Carb & Health Blogs To Start Off 2012 On The Right Foot

Is 2012 your year to take your passion and enthusiasm for healthy Paleo/low-carb living to the next level by quite possibly stretching yourself beyond your comfort zone to begin doing something to reach the world with the nutritional truths you have learned and applied in your own life? I have long been a strong proponent of the “more the merrier” philosophy when it comes to people wanting to start up their own low-carb blogs, YouTube videos and even podcasts. People generally respond back to me, “But you and others already do such a good job at it that the few hundred people who might find mine will pale in comparison.” You know, it’s not really about the numbers. It’s about taking the information you have personally seen for yourself to work and multiplying it to a world full of people who need to hear it. How many people still believe in “healthy whole grains,” “artery-clogging saturated fat” and the notion that weight loss is all about “calories in, calories out?” And what about all those people who take a statin drug because their doctor says they have “high cholesterol” when their total cholesterol is over 200? There’s far too many people who are obediently following conventional dietary wisdom like lemmings and it takes all of us communicating what’s wrong with that advice and providing real-life answers to people with obesity, diabetes, heart disease and more. As one unified voice, we will make a real difference in the lives of people. Think about it and seriously consider entering this wild and crazy blogosphere.

Although I’m not leaving on vacation (which is when I generally write these kind of posts), I’ve been overflowing with 46 new Paleo, low-carb and healthy blogs to give you an idea of some of the best ones I’ve seen to help start off 2012 on the right foot! Although I just did a list of 50 new blogs a few short weeks ago, they’re coming in fast and furious now. You can join in on the fun by starting your own and then sending me the link to livinlowcarbman@charter.net so I can feature you in a future post like this one. It truly does give me great pleasure to regularly introduce my readers to some of the best new bloggers who are working hard to provide quality content about diet, exercise, cooking and healthy living. I encourage you to visit as many of these blogs as you can, leave them a comment, write them an e-mail, and bookmark their page if you like what you see there. In case you missed any of my previous blog listings, take a look-see at all of them here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

E-mail me the name of the blog and the URL to livinlowcarbman@charter.net so I can add it to my next big blog update. As I said at the beginning of this post, if you’ve been successful in your weight and health by eating a healthy Paleo or low-carb diet, then you should DEFINITELY consider starting your own low-carb blog too. Don’t underestimate the kind of influence YOU can make in the lives of people within your sphere of influence. You betcha Lisa!

  • http://lowcal-lowcarb-lowfat.blogspot.com/ Laura Boedes

Thank you very much for listing my super-recent and humble blog!!! :) (Living la vida low-cal, in Spanish)

I’d like to clarify  to all of those who do not understand the language that, even though I show pictures of toasts, sandwiches, biscuits, muffins and things like that; all of them are low carb as I lead mainly a low carb/low cal/low fat life (Yeah, I know, it sounds awful :), I lead that lifestyle for specific purposes and it is time bound).

    Thank you again!

    • Anonymous

Welcome! So glad to have you around. :)

Thank you, Jimmy for sharing our blog!  We love you!  We have been putting your links on our Facebook pages and have recommended your website as one of our favorites on our Thin and Thinner blog (“Thin’s First Blog”).  You are a true leader in our low carb quest, and we appreciate all you are doing to spread the word.  Thanks for all you do!

Congrats on an awesome blog. Thanks for your support.

  • Helen Rooney

Wow, that was a big surprise, I just got back from a weekend away and popped onto blogger stats to see what’s happening. There I see a pile of links from your blog. I thought I was dreaming! lol Thanks for noticing! I’m a crafty Mum with lots of interests so my blog is not strictly a low carb/paleo blog, but it is a part of my life I am passionate about and you have been a big influence in getting me to a much healthier place and a gateway to a big world of low-carb and Paleo. Perhpas I can do the sae for someone else and hit a different target audience. The word needs to spread into every niche and be seen to be working for every day people, not just the perceived “health nuts”.
    Thanks for the mention!
    cheers,
    Helen @ stitcharooney.blogspot.com

      Surprise Helen!

  • http://paleoweightlosscoach.com/ Jedha

Thanks for sharing those blogs Jimmy. It’s great to see people I know on the list and I will be sure to check the rest out and get involved in the action. Hopefully next year my blog might end up there too :) Have a great 2012, I think it’s going to be a good one!

    • Anonymous

Oh, I think we can arrange that VERY soon, Jedha. We won’t need to wait until next year. :D

  • Larry

Thanks for the link to the registry Jimmy! The new registrants are coming in daily.

Awesome man! Keep up the great work.

  • http://www.mywoe.wordpress.com/ Janknitz

Thanks, Jimmy!  I was surprised and pleased to see my brand new blog on your list, I love your blog lists and check them ALL out to find new ones to add to my reading list.  There is some awesome company here.  I’d love to hear more from anyone who is doing “Dan’s Plan”–will you be interviewing him anytime soon?

BTW, I LOVED having 5 days of LLVC podcasts to listen to in a row during encore week.  No waiting.  I’m sure that’s a lot of work, but I wish it could be that way all the time ;o)

Jan, I am glad I got a chance to highlight your new blog…keep it going to spread the word. Dan is gonna be on my “Low-Carb Conversations” podcast in a few weeks and then on The LLVLC Show in a few months. Starting this week, we’ve expanded The LLVLC Show to Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday nights at 7PM EST will be a brand new LIVE call-in show called “Ask The Low-Carb Experts” that will feature top experts on specific topics. And LCC airs on Fridays. So it’s a lot of hard work to give you guys the information you need to live a healthy low-carb lifestyle.
