Is 2012 your year to take your passion and enthusiasm for healthy Paleo/low-carb living to the next level by quite possibly stretching yourself beyond your comfort zone to begin doing something to reach the world with the nutritional truths you have learned and applied in your own life? I have long been a strong proponent of the “more the merrier” philosophy when it comes to people wanting to start up their own low-carb blogs, YouTube videos and even podcasts. People generally respond back to me, “But you and others already do such a good job at it that the few hundred people who might find mine will pale in comparison.” You know, it’s not really about the numbers. It’s about taking the information you have personally seen for yourself to work and multiplying it to a world full of people who need to hear it. How many people still believe in “healthy whole grains,” “artery-clogging saturated fat” and the notion that weight loss is all about “calories in, calories out?” And what about all those people who take a statin drug because their doctor says they have “high cholesterol” when their total cholesterol is over 200? There’s far too many people who are obediently following conventional dietary wisdom like lemmings and it takes all of us communicating what’s wrong with that advice and providing real-life answers to people with obesity, diabetes, heart disease and more. As one unified voice, we will make a real difference in the lives of people. Think about it and seriously consider entering this wild and crazy blogosphere.
Although I’m not leaving on vacation (which is when I generally write these kind of posts), I’ve been overflowing with 46 new Paleo, low-carb and healthy blogs to give you an idea of some of the best ones I’ve seen to help start off 2012 on the right foot! Although I just did a list of 50 new blogs a few short weeks ago, they’re coming in fast and furious now. You can join in on the fun by starting your own and then sending me the link to livinlowcarbman@charter.net so I can feature you in a future post like this one. It truly does give me great pleasure to regularly introduce my readers to some of the best new bloggers who are working hard to provide quality content about diet, exercise, cooking and healthy living. I encourage you to visit as many of these blogs as you can, leave them a comment, write them an e-mail, and bookmark their page if you like what you see there. In case you missed any of my previous blog listings, take a look-see at all of them here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.
