It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here–the 4th Annual Low-Carb Cruise! I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to this trip leaving out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida port on Sunday, May 1, 2011 with ports of call in Key West, FL, Grand Cayman Islands, and Jamaica before returning on Saturday, May 7, 2011. We’ve got over 100 of your fellow low-carbers joining us for a week of fun in the sun as well as two days of incredible lectures from prestigious low-carb experts like Dr. Mary Vernon, Dana Carpender, Tom Naughton, Jackie Eberstein, Fred Hahn, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt, Dr. Michael Fox and more. What an exciting time to be livin’ la vida low-carb and these cruises just keep getting bigger and better each year! In fact, we’ve already got the 5th Annual Low-Carb Cruise planned for April 29-May 6, 2012 leaving out of Galveston, Texas on the brand new Carnival Magic ship going to Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. More details coming to LowCarbCruiseInfo.comin June–with some really HUGE surprises in store regarding next year’s special guest speakers. You WON’T want to miss my announcement about this one if there’s any way you can make plans to join us. Start saving now because this will be the ONE you’ll regret not coming to. Okay, I’ll stop teasing you with it!
Since I’ll be away from the blog for over a week, I want to make sure you have lots of stuff to look at and enjoy. It’s been a tradition of mine to highlight blogs of interest to me as a way of “paying it forward” to some other outstanding health bloggers who are doing some incredible work that warrants your attention. Do you like what you see from these truly amazing blogs? Well, let them know by bookmarking their sites, leaving comments about posts that interest you, and thanking them for being a part of this great big community of like-minded people promoting healthy living. And if you or someone you know has a low-carb, Paleo or health blog or web site that you’d like to see featured in a future blog post here at “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb,” then I’d love to know about it. E-mail me the name of the blog and the URL to livinlowcarbman@charter.net so I can see it for myself and add it to my next big blog update in a few months. If you’ve been eating a healthy high-fat, low-carb diet and seen incredible results from it, then perhaps it’s time you get on the bandwagon and start your own low-carb blog to help us carry the torch even further to a generation of people who have been bamboozled into thinking a low-fat, high-carb, calorie-restricted diet is the way to be “healthy.” We know better than that and the more voices out there we can get to set the record straight the better. THANKS so much for reading and I’ll miss you while I’m away! See ya when I return on May 9th!
