‘Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show’ Episode 277: Dreamfields Pasta President Mike Crowley Answers The Tough Questions

DON’T MISS THE #1 LOW-CARB PODCAST ON ITUNES! We’re back on iTunes again and all the old archives are being added to the new web site. However, it is frustrating right now since iTunes is only displaying the nine most current podcast shows, but we’re trying to get them to list ALL of the shows so you can listen on demand. Please be patient with us while we try to get Apple to fix this for us. In the meantime, you can access the older episodes at the new web site feed site. Use the search function on the official web site to find the ones you are looking for and e-mail me if you don’t see your favorite interview online. We’re here to serve you!

Is Dreamfields pasta really low-carb? Your questions answered today.

Have you tried the Dreamfields pasta promoted as a low-carb alternative yet? If so, then you have very likely been impressed by how delicious it is and might be wondering if it is truly low-carb or not. More than just about any other low-carb product out there except for maybe Atkins bars, doubts about the veracity of Dreamfields pasta’s claim of being low-carb have been floating around out there in the low-carb community. To that end, I have been working hard to get someone from the company to appear on my podcast show to share more about this pasta and today we have the head honcho himself to explain what sets Dreamfields apart.

In Episode 277 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from Dreamfields Pasta President Mike Crowley about the founding of his company, what is different about Dreamfields pasta compared with conventional pasta and even other low-carb pastas, the unique way Dreamfields products are created to make “protected carbohydrates,” the fiber/protein blend used to make Dreamfields, the noticeable complexity of the Dreamfields pasta matrix compared with typical pasta, why you don’t want to overcook the Dreamfields pasta, why Dreamfields doesn’t make a spaghetti sauce, some of the new rice and other products that are in the works with Dreamfields, why you need to be careful about eating too much Dreamfields, where you can find the Dreamfields products, and so much more! If you have ANY questions about the Dreamfields low-carb pasta products then don’t miss this interview with Dreamfields President Mike Crowley!

Coming up next week, we’ll hear from “accidental” medical writer Cyndy Kryder who will help us understand better about some of the sometimes confusing jargon and terminology used in the nutrition and health industry. Her latest book is cleverly called NUDE MICE: And Other Medical Writing Terms You Need to Know. Then on Thursday, at long last we’ll get an update on what is happening with the 2010 Dietary Recommendations panel from Dr. Brian Wansink who served as executive director of the Center For Nutrition Policy and Promotion at the USDA until earlier this year. He will reveal some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that is going on with a panel of so-called health “experts” who are deciding what the government is going to promote as a “healthy” diet and it seems they are still ignoring the low-carb elephant in the room. You will be shocked and surprised by what you hear from Dr. Wansink, so be sure to tune it next week! THANK YOU for listening!

Right when I saw the picture of that pasta, I wanted to run out and get some. I’m a big pasta fan, and being so it sometimes shows lol. A low-carb pasta sounds fabulous! I’ll definitely check out a way I can help promote the product!
